The core business of the JSC RAO Energy System of East is the management of energy companies to satisfy, efficiently and with high quality, the demand on electrical and thermal energy in the Far East District and adjacent areas.

The JSC RAO Energy System of East Holding Company’s investment program is aimed at ensuring the quality and reliable energy supply to the customers alongside with modernization and upgrading of production facilities.

The JSC RAO Energy System of East Holding Company members’ major business areas are:

• electrical and thermal energy production;
• dispatch administration in separate energy systems;
• electrical and thermal energy transportation;
• electrical energy procurement from the retail electrical energy (power) suppliers of the United Energy Systems of East;
• sale of energy in the Far East District areas not included into the pricing zones;
• ensuring power-generating equipment operation in compliance with the existing regulations, its timely and quality repairs, technical retrofitting and reconstruction of power assets, and energy systems development.
